Royal Monastery of Santa María del Puig
Renaissance monument which construction began in 1238. Declared a Good of Cultural Interest (BIC in Spanish acronym) in 1969. Inside of it you can visit the cloisters, the Royal Hall, the Gothic Hall of Jaume I and the imitation of the sword of the King Jaume I.
Tuesdays and Saturdays: at 10h, 11h, 12h, 16h and 17h.
Sundays and festivities: at 12h. Prices: 3€ groups / 4€ Individual / free for children under 8 years old.

The Carthusian of Ara Christi
Built from 1585 and declared a Goof of Cultural Interest in 1996. In it you can admire the decoration of its church’s cupola, its chapel, cloisters and open areas.
Guided visit under previous reservation: 11h in the Tourist Info of the Monastery terrace.
Programed dated: September 11th and 25th, October 23rd, November 6th and 20th, December 4th and 18th.
Printing and Graphic Arts Museum
The first one in Spain and second most important museum in Europe. It has more than 60 machines, typography molds, reliefs carved by hand, and the Gutenberg Hall, a replica of a a printing workshop of the XV century.

The footprint of Jaume I in El Puig
Dramatized tour “The lost sword of Jaume I”. The Fathers Eufrasio and Soria will show us the Hermitage and its surroundings, apart from telling us stories and legends of the reconquest of Valencia. Help us find the sword of Jaume I!

Knights and princesses
In this guided visit adapted for children you will discover the Monastery of Santa María and the stories and legends of Jaume I in El Puig. Moreover, they can come dressed up as knights and princesses.

Meeting point: In the main entrance of the Royal Monastery.
